First committee
In December 1982 the first Annual General Meeting of the Beaudesert and District Netball Association was held at the Beaudesert State Primary School with the first elected committee consisting of:
President - Lyn Reedman
Vice President - Ella Craigie
Secretary - Gail Herron
Assistant Secretary - Elizabeth Avery Treasurer - Merilyn Van't Hof
Registrar and Recorder - Nancy Sanders
Umpire Convenor - Nancy Moss
First Patron - Mr Keith Arthy
Building
The major goal for 1984/1985 was the building of the much needed Administration, first aid and canteen block. With funds raised through many discos, flea markets, street stalls, raffles and a loan offered by Beaudesert Shire Council, the foundations started at the end of 1984.
Uniform
This was the first time players had worn the Association colours: Sky blue pleated skirt and navy collared sleeveless shirt.
The 12 year, 13 year and 14 year teams were also introduced to representative netball.
