About Us
Beaudesert and District Netball Association formed in 1982
Since 1982 we have strived to give the best community netball experience in the Scenic Rim.
We are a family-oriented association catering for players of all ages from 5 to 5 at heart.
We encourage anyone and everyone to give netball a go - it's a lot of fun.
Play
BDNA plays on Tuesday nights at Mavor park.
Juniors
Our season starts on the 21st of April 2026
Junior warm up from 4.30pm.
Playing from 4.45pm to 6pm
Skills training 5-7 years old (born 2019 to 2021)
Juniors (Go) - 8-12 years old (born 2014 to 2018)
Those born in 2014 and 2015 have the option to play with both the juniors and the cadets.
Seniors and cadets
Playing from 6.15pm from the 21st of April 2026
Cadets 11-15 years old (born 2011 to 2015)
Seniors (mixed competition) - 16 years and older (born from 2010 and older)

Our fast five season is now completed for the year.
Congratulations to Jenn's team who narrowly won against Livi's team in the final on the 17th of March.
We hope to see you all now for the regular season.

Ball rests on the base of the spread fingers and the thumb.
The opposite hand is placed on the side of the ball to steady it

Arms are extended with the shooting arm reasonably straight and close to the ear.

There are three main areas a shooter can aim for but they must be consistent with the method chosen

Sprint strongly to the ball, either directly forward or diagonally at a 45-degree angle to the free side
When the lead is to the right, take off with the right leg and vice versa
Emphasis should be on strong first three to four steps with shoulders in direction of lead
When leading to the right, land on the right foot and pivot to the right and vice versa
Strong arms to accelerate
Defending skills
Stand in front of opponent with back to attacker, and body halfway across opponent’s body
Arms close to sides of body
Feet shoulder-width apart, knees bent, weight slightly forward over toes and back upright
Shadow moves using fast small steps
Do not swing the head
